We loved celebrating with Kay and Chad on their big day!
The ceremony was located at Antique Rose Emporium, a venue with tons of beautiful flowers everywhere.

The lucky man.

What is your favorite memory from the wedding day?
K: I thought our ceremony was really wonderful, exactly how I hoped it would be.
My favorite memory from it was when some of the groomsmen played the guitar and sang, with all of our guests, a song (10,000 Reasons)
and Chad and I had a few minutes to sit together on a piano bench to the side and pray, worship, and kind of just take everything in.
C: Driving to the ceremony location with my groomsmen while singing at the top of our lungs,
seeing my bride for the first time in her wedding dress,
and sitting together silently during the actual ceremony are all particular favorites of mine
but there was something really sweet about the moments I had to myself during the morning hours before everything began clicking into gear,
just a ton of sweet anticipation and being able to enjoy that with the Lord was probably the sweetest of them.
Funniest thing that happened?
Kay’s father announcing at the reception that the marriage certificate hadn’t been signed, and therefore we weren’t technically married just yet.
If you were to go back and do it again, would you change anything?
C: I would have brought an extra guitar string for the guitar that Joseph was supposed to play during the ceremony
(it snapped while he and my other groomsmen, Chris, were playing in the hours leading up to the ceremony)
so that both he and Chris could have played instead of just the one.
K: It was so fun to see so many people I love at our wedding and I was glad our reception didn’t feel too rushed
so that I got to spend time enjoying our guests but still would have loved more time to just get to hang out with everyone,
especially with the friends and family members that I hadn’t seen in a while.
Advice for future brides/grooms?
The wedding day goes by super quickly so don’t stress out about all the small things in the months of preparation leading up to it.
