Meet the fantastic duo Jordan and Alan!
We spent the afternoon with them at Knibbe Ranch, where these two lovebirds are going to tie the knot later this year.
Love the lens flare in this photo!
One of my favorites!
Super pretty bright blue eyes!
Ok this one is a favorite too. Love the sunset, flowers, and of course the good lookin’ couple!
Then we had some fun with long exposure.. Who knew I could write such a good B with a light!

How did you meet?
A: We met at few Greek events through mutual friends five years ago.
J: We met at the Kappa Alpha house at the University of North Texas, over five years ago. I was 18 and Alan was 20, a friend had taken me to the KA house for a party as a freshman. We met in passing amongst friends, but over the years we crossed paths on campus, Greek events and through mutual friends. It was three years later when we met out ‘final’ time, it was like meeting all new people, and in no time at all we fell for each other hard and fast.
When was your first date? Where did you go? Did you hit it off right away?
A: February 3rd, 2011, I took her to breakfast before class at Old West Cafe in Denton. We hit off right away despite the fact that I was a little nervous but really excited.
J: Our first official date was to a local Denton breakfast place, Old West. We were inseparable from that day on.
What is one of your favorite memories together?
A: Jordan always makes my birthdays really special. She always plans something incredible!
J: We went on a family trip on a cruise to Mexico last year, it was one of the best trips we’ve ever been on. We swam with dolphins, watched the sun rise, watched movies on the side of the ship at night, and played on the beach for a week.
What are some things y’all like to do together?
A: We’re goof balls, we love to just hang out and goof off.
We always have fun whether we’re watching sports on the couch or trying out cool new restaurants.
J: We do everything together! We go to church every Sunday, we love to go to Rangers games, hang out with family and friends, and go on long walks together. But honestly we’re best friends we always have fun no matter what we do.
Tell us about the proposal.
A: She tells the story much better than I do. But I did good
J: Alan asked me to go with him up to McKinney to meet a family friend. Once we got to the store in McKinney there was a surprise was awaiting me, Alan had planned a romantic hot air balloon ride. He claimed it was a graduation gift, I was graduating just four days later. While in the midst of our ride in the sky Alan went down on one knee, presented me a ring, and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Once we landed there was a champagne picnic waiting for us. It was incredible.
What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?
A: The official start of our future together. The joining of our two families.
I’m really looking forward to sharing our day with our friends and family, celebrating marrying my best friend.
J: We’ve been dreaming of this for awhile, we have been through a lot together.
We are both so excited to finally be together, and enjoy making happy memories with our family and friends.
But I think seeing each other for the first time that day on either end of the aisle will be incredible!
